Tobacco Dependence Program (TDP)
About TDP
The Tobacco Dependence Program aims to advocate for evidence-based treatment of tobacco dependence. This includes giving a public voice to patients who have faced tobacco dependence through our "Patients Advocacy Group." Members of this group have spoken at press conferences, budget hearings, and other public meetings in favor of tobacco dependence treatment. In 2001, the Tobacco Dependence Program opened a Tobacco Dependence Clinic in New Brunswick. In January, 2007, a second clinic in Newark was opened.
