Department of Urban Health Administration (URHA)
Organization of the Department
This department emphasizes hands on, case method and other practical learning experiences. Courses in this department will be offered primarily at Rutgers University-Newark, mainly in the Graduate Department of Public Administration. All students enrolled in this department will take 12 credits of required classes and a minimum of 12 elective credits in the department. Students also have the opportunity to select electives from other departments at UMDNJ � SPH as well as from other offerings at Rutgers University or NJIT. Students concentrating in this department will select fieldwork placements consistent with the emphasis on urban health administration.
