Department of Quantitative Methods:
Biostatistics and Epidemiology (QNME)

Organization of the Department

The faculty members of the department of quantitative methods: biostatistics and epidemiology are experienced teachers and researchers in the areas of biostatistics, epidemiology and public health practice. The goal of this department is to provide students with quantitative, analytic and research skills needed to become effective epidemiologists, biostatisticians, policymakers, program administrators, public health researchers and public health practitioners. Students who choose to concentrate in the department will master a common set of measurable quantitative and analytic skills. Once these general skills have been mastered, students will choose to concentrate in either biostatistics (BIST) or epidemiology (EPID).
