About

Epidemiology and biostatistics are fundamental skills for public health, clinical practice and research. The goal of this department is to assist the student in developing quantitative, analytic and research skills for public health practitioners employing both lecture based and case based teaching methods. Students are able to emphasize either biostatistics or epidemiology. Within the epidemiology concentrations, student may complete collateral in the areas of injury epidemiology, infectious diseases epidemiology and informatics.

Degrees offered: MPH; MD/MPH; DMD/MPH; MS in Community Health Nursing/MPH, MSN/MPH and MS in Biomedical Sciences/MPH.
