Organization of the Department
The health systems and policy department offers courses on both the Piscataway and Stratford campuses. The department�s courses are intended to give the students an in-depth understanding of the organization and administration of the health care field. Students have the opportunity to select nine (9) credits of elective coursework in areas of health policy, research and statistical methods, and health care management. Department faculty is continuing to develop elective courses and fieldwork experiences for students in the areas of health care policy and health services research. Students also have the opportunity to select electives from other departments in the UMDNJ � SPH as well as from the offerings of Rutgers University.
