Application for this degree program is available through the campus office. The MS in Community Health Nursing/MPH degree combines a Master of Science in Community Health Nursing from Rutgers University-Newark with a Master of Public Health degree. This program is available on both the Newark and Piscataway/New Brunswick Campuses. The MS in Community Health Nursing/ MPH program addresses critical issues surrounding the nationメs health, especially those of high-risk, urban and underserved populations. The program develops and applies knowledge from multiple disciplines for the promotion and protection of human health, with special consideration to varied and multicultural perspectives. Through a focus that extends from the neighborhoods surrounding the campuses to international settings, the MS in Community Health Nursing/MPH responds to its mission through programs of teaching, research and service.* * The UMDNJ - School of Public Health grants six (6) transfer credits as electives for all dual degree students from professional schools (Allopathic and Osteopathic Medicine, MS Nursing, Physician Assistants and Dentistry) for biological basis of health and health promotion content in their professional curriculum.
