Application for this degree program is available through the campus office. The dual DMD/MPH degree, offered on the Newark Campus, combines a Doctor of Dental Medicine from UMDNJ - New Jersey Dental School with a Master of Public Health degree. The DMD/MPH program is designed to produce skilled and committed dental health professionals equipped with a broad knowledge of health problems and health delivery, and capable of assuming leadership roles in community dental health promotion, dental disease prevention and dental health research programs.* * The UMDNJ - School of Public Health grants six (6) transfer credits as electives for all dual degree students from professional schools (Allopathic and Osteopathic Medicine, MS Nursing, Physician Assistants and Dentistry) for biological basis of health and health promotion content in their professional curriculum.
