School of Public Health Certificates
Guiding Principles
- The admission standards for certificate programs will meet those currently in place for all MPH and MS degree programs, with the exception of the GRE requirement, which may be waived for specific certificates.
- Students must maintain a "B" average to successfully complete a certificate program. Certificate students not maintaining a 3.00 GPA after six (6) credits will be subject to academic review by the Academic Progression Committee on their campus. The Committee may recommend probation or dismissal. A recommendation for dismissal will be handled the same way as it is for degree students.
- Students may only participate in one certificate or degree program at a time.
- All credits must be earned within a two-year period. Extensions for good cause may be granted by permission of the Certificate Program Coordinator and the cognizant Campus Associate Dean.
