Delta Omega and the Alpha Eta Chapter at the UMDNJ-School of Public Health
Delta Omega, the honorary society for graduate studies in public health, was founded in 1924, and the Alpha Eta Chapter was started in 2001 at the UMDNJ-School of Public Health. It celebrates academic achievement, devotion to public health principles, and outstanding service in public health.
In addition to the induction of MPH students into Delta Omega at the Convocation ceremony prior to Commencement, all of whom are selected from the top ten percent of their class, the School inducts honorary members, faculty members, and members of the alumni/alumnae community.
